The Racer's Edge designs custom chassis, components & accessories for the snowmobile industry. Building race cars, and race snowmobiles for over 25 years. The Racer's Edge was established in 1988 by Daryl Baker. At that time he built race cars and sold components that fueled the racing industry. Over the years The Racer's Edge has remained just that, On the Racer's Edge. In about 1990 Daryl got a Yamaha Phazer, and hasn't looked back since. Fantasy becomes reality in this shop. From dream, to paper, to the guy that's in front of you on the hill. Currently, both Lance and Daryl Baker work at The Racer's Edge. The Baker's are creative inventors and skilled welders that are very well-known across western Canada and north-western United States. Having worked side by side with Ski-doo, the Baker's spent about 2 years researching and developing what would become the '03 Rev. They have quite an impressive resume, not that they need one. The Baker's built their rep the old fashioned way. Hard work and awesome products. The philosophy of The Racer's Edge is to always be the best, to always make the best components by keeping cost in mind, but not allowing price to compromise the final product.
